Project Overview
This slope is located near Bowman, NSW. The project involved the reinstatement of the outer slope formation and road width that had recently been lost due to flooding. The design proposed for these works was a soil nail supported shotcrete wall with no-fines concrete backfill to enable the recovery of the road formation.
Warner Company completed the minor excavation works, drilled and installed permanent soil nails at various lengths up to 8m in length, formed the outside edge of the road, installed the no-fines concrete as backfill, fixed all steel reinforcement and finally applied the structural layer of shotcrete. Warner Company then managed a civil Subcontractor to undertake the road works.
